Help us make housing more attainable! By 2029 Otsego County will need an additional 1,600 housing units. It will take all of us to bring solutions to the table.

Attend a Planning or Zoning Meeting:
Attending your local city, township, or county Planning and Zoning Board meetings can be enlightening in learning how decisions are being made. The meetings are open to the public. There may also be a “call to action” requested by our Housing TaskForce to come to a specific Planning and Zoning meeting if a developer has an agenda item that can benefit from public support.
The following meetings are standing meetings and public is welcome:
Otsego County Planning and Zoning Commission: Every third Monday of the Month, 6PM, Room 100, County Building
City of Gaylord Planning Commission: On first Wednesday of the Month, 7PM, City Hall (check before going, meetings are sometimes canceled)

The Otsego Housing Task Force appreciates donations and sponsorships allowing continuity in the work it does. The Task Force members volunteer benefiting the work and to direct a part time consultant.
